The Towson Swim Club Committee announces that the opening of the Towson Swim Club (TSC) is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend 2013. We are intent on getting the pool built before spring 2013 so that everyone can tour it and get excited.

At this point, the all-volunteer TSC Committee has nearly completed what once seemed like the insurmountable task of clearing the many regulatory hurdles that come with building a first-class facility that we have planned. Most recently, obtaining Design Review Panel approval and the complete changeover in the county administration slowed us down. We’re now cleared through that red tape and the project has the support of our new County Executive and County Councilman. At this point, our last major obstacle is finalizing construction financing. Once we get financing and a couple of permits to start grading and building, construction of the facility will take about 6-months.
